Aiming to provide the public with a better understanding of its work and the dynamics of a cutting-edge research project, NOTOX has produced a film. Over several months a film team captured voices and pictures of NOTOX scientists in various settings and on different occasions: during project meetings or at daily work. The result is a vivid glance behind the scenes of this large-scale European research project that provides exciting insights into the challenges of developing validated alternative testing methods. It shows which efforts are made by the European Commission and the whole consortium to find safe solutions to replace animal testing for safety assessment of cosmetic and hygienic products.
