Cambridge Cell Networks, member of the NOTOX consortium, held the lecture “Data Management, Text Mining and Data Integration in the SEURAT Cluster” as an invited speaker,  at the International Meeting on Data Mining in Bioinformatics DMBI.2012, on June 26th 2012.

The International Meeting on Data Mining in Bioinformatics took place from 26-28th, 2012 in Belgrade, Serbia, at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Mathematics.

The programme included a combination of lectures given by invited scientists and direct communication and discussions among lecturers and attendees, as the meeting was conceived in a form of a workshop.

The scope of the International Meeting on Data Mining in Bioinformatics was:

  • to bring together researchers interested in the development and application of data mining and information technologies to the field of life sciences. Besides data mining, other areas of interest include other information technologies as well, such as sequence analysis, biostatistics, pattern recognition, machine learning and other related fields.
  • to promote bioinformatics among researches and bring together different research communities, from informatics to molecular biology to biomedicine, thus encouraging future cooperation with colleagues from different fields.
