2nd Annual Meeting of SEURAT took place
The 2nd Annual Meeting of SEURAT-1 took place on 8 and 9 February 2012, in Lisbon.
More than 100 participants of the SEURAT-1 research initiative met during two days to exchange on the progress made by the cluster during the last year, important developments at the international level and the research strategy to be implemented in the future. The programme contained plenary sessions and parallel breakout working groups on cross-cutting subjects that are key for a successful research collaboration. The event was opened by Bertil Heerink (European Cosmetics). Invited guest speakers presented their views on important issues in the field of alternative testing strategies, including Mel Anderson (Hamner Institute), George Daston (P&G), Paul Carmichael (Unilever), and Bas Blaauboer (Utrecht University).
