The SEURAT-1 Research Initiative will have its next Annual Meeting on 8 and 9 February 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal.

This second event will give the partners of the SEURAT-1 cluster the opportunity to get informed about the projects achievements over the last year, take part to scientific focused sessions and attend panel discussions in the presence of renowned experts.

A poster session will be held, aiming to showcase the research of young scientists within the cluster. The best posters will be awarded during the event and their authors will be invited to contribute to the next volume of the SEURAT-1 Annual Report.

Programme

• Arrival Day: 18:00 - 19:30: Registration for the Annual Meeting and poster session around a get-together cocktail.
• Day 1: 8:30 - 19:30: Opening speeches from SEURAT-1 scientific expert panel co-chair, presentation of the cluster vision and strategy, report from the 7 project coordinators, scientific focus sessions and a poster session
• Day 2: 9:00 - 12:30: Outlook session with a keynote speech from an invited expert, panel discussions and best poster award

Accommodation

Preferential prices were negotiated in the SANA Lisboa Hotel, located downtown Lisbon, 20 minutes from the airport by public bus (drop off in front of the hotel).
